Work incentives are rules that make it possible for people with disabilities to receive income from work and still receive Social Security benefits, Medicare, and/or Medicaid.

The rules are different for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Both programs are run by SSA, and each has its own set of work incentives. It is possible to receive both.
