Recently, the U.S. Census Bureau released shocking new statistics about the economic state of Americans with disabilities. Although the report revealed that American household incomes had risen sharply, decreasing the number of those living in poverty by the millions, there was one group that did not feel the effects of a rising economic tide: those with disabilities.
