The Office of Disability Employment Policy in the Department of Labor recently produced a new fact-sheet  “Workplace Flexibility: A Strategic Business Approach for an Inclusive Workplace” as part of its Workplace Flexibility Toolkit. Workplace flexibility means mutually agreed upon changes to when, where and how a person works and can be used a reasonable accommodation. The toolkit and fact-sheet are aimed at employers and provide a wealth of examples and case studies on how companies can use workplace flexibility to increase productivity, decrease absenteeism and retain employees longer.
