There are a several programs that can help you start your own business:

IPE (Individualized Plan for Employment) is a program for individuals who are eligible for services through Vocational Rehabilitation.

SCORE, “Counselors to America’s Small Business,” is a source of free and confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

  • The SCORE Association, headquartered in Washington, DC, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to entrepreneurial education and the formation, growth and success of small businesses nationwide.
  • SCORE offers small business advice and training.
  • SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The Hawaii Small Business Development Center offers online training and individual counseling. They have offices on every island.
