Welcome to the new Hire Abilities Hawaii. As before, the mission of this site will be to provide resources to support employment for individuals with disabilities. Our relaunched site will provide some additional tools to make it easier to search for information.
The new features include:
- A database of employment resources for jobseekers, service providers and employers, searchable through our Resource Finder.
- A Disability Benefits Reference for benefits counselors describing how Hawaii’s disability programs are affected by work. The reference will initially cover Social Security benefits and work incentives, but will be expanded over time to cover Medicaid, Food Stamps and Housing Programs.
- A Video Library full of stories that inform and inspire.
- An Events Calendar with training opportunities, disability resource fairs and other events related to disability employment.
